What can regression therapy do for me?

It may help you understand why you feel overwhelmed, stuck, lost, or troubled by unexplained emotions, and offers solutions to address this. In hypnosis, we connect to your subconscious mind to help you find solutions to life and health challenges. It can give insight into why limiting patterns or relationship issues repeat themselves, helping you resolve inner stress and conflict by promoting self-healing. This process helps you to reclaim your personal power and promotes inner resilience by learning to trust yourself, letting go of old wounds and limiting habits and thoughts.

The body language of your subconscious

In difficult times your conscious mind may remove the memory of an event that might overload you, as a form of protection. It stores that experience, with attached emotions, in the subconscious mind until you are ready to deal with it. Unknowingly you may keep these ‘undigested’ emotions ‘on hold’ for a variety of cultural, religious, or personal reasons. When ignored over time your body may develop pain, tension, or a health crisis to nudge you to change and review your life and what matters to you. Chances are, that it has been trying to tell you something for a long time.

Release old emotions and trauma

During Regression Therapy, we tune into the charged emotion, locate the area where it is stored in the body, and explore its purpose or message, helping you to release or resolve it. This process allows you the opportunity to heal emotional wounds and to let go of fear, anger or guilt. It does this by connecting you to your inner compass, providing you with a map and a direction in life to navigate from. It is not a miracle solution; you still have to take action on the insights you received to navigate your healing journey. Recognising the lessons from a health crisis can bring peace whether physical healing occurs or not. In some cases, a session may reveal your soul planned to experience a certain limitation to learn a specific lesson in this life.

De-brief to integrate your insights

In a debrief we discuss the main points together and may discuss further coaching and hypnosis to support your personal transformation.

You will receive an audio recording of the hypnosis part of the session. The recording works as a reminder for you in case any part of the session was forgotten. It may take some time to process everything that has happened during a session, especially when you had many meaningful experiences in such a short period of time.

Monitor your feelings and dreams

Your connection to your subconscious will remain open so pay attention to your thoughts, feelings, dreams and intuition. You will begin to discern the difference between the ego and the real self which will help you to find greater spiritual and mental stability. Write down and reflect on your experiences and learnings of the session to anchor them into your conscious mind. Self-observation is a key in the integration process so keep track of your physical, emotional, and mental state.

How to prepare for your session

Set your intention for what your want to achieve during the session. Arrive with a curious, open mind and release any ideas of what may happen. Read our information about hypnosis so you understand it’s a natural state of focussed awareness that you access every day.

The only thing required is to say the first thing that comes into your mind, without judging, and give as much detail as possible. As you talk and feel into the scene more information will flow to you.

To ensure a successful session arrive sober, so don’t drink the night before and/or the day of your session. A session will be cancelled if you are under the influence of drugs, alcohol or any other substances that alter your state of awareness. Do not take any unprescribed pills to relax you, this may sabotage access to insights or resolution of trauma.

Before and after the session unwind by going into nature, doing gentle exercise, taking a bath, meditating, listening to soothing music and scheduling in a restful sleep.
