Is this for me?
This session is for you when you're resourced: you have the stability, support and space to go deep and integrate what comes up. It's for you if you feel overwhelmed, stuck, lost or troubled by emotions you can't quite explain, and you're ready to let go of what doesn't belong in your next chapter.
It's for highly functioning women who take responsibility for their own change. For deep subconscious work, you'll need a safe, private space at home, and if you're in a relationship, a safe relationship. It isn't suitable if you need crisis care. This work complements medical and psychological care; it doesn't replace it.
We connect to your subconscious mind to find answers to life's challenges. I may draw on hypnotherapy to understand why limiting patterns or relationship issues keep repeating, or use IFS (Internal Family Systems) to work with inner parts and resolve inner conflict. The aim is for you to reclaim your personal power, build inner resilience, and learn to trust yourself again, letting go of old wounds and the habits and thoughts that came with them.
In difficult times, your conscious mind can put away a memory that would otherwise overwhelm you, as a form of protection. It stores that experience, and the emotion attached to it, in your subconscious until you're ready to face it. Unknowingly, you may hold that unprocessed emotion for years, for personal, cultural or religious reasons. In my experience, the body keeps signalling what hasn't been heard, through tension, pain or exhaustion. Chances are, yours has been trying to tell you something for a long time.
“Those regressions with you were a strong part of my journey I’ll never forget and always be grateful for.”
Releasing what you're holding
In session, we tune into the charged emotion, locate where it lives in the body, and explore its purpose or message, so you can release or resolve it. This gives you the chance to heal old wounds and let go of fear, anger or guilt, by reconnecting you to your own inner compass, so you have a clearer sense of direction going forward. It isn't a miracle solution. You still have to act on what you discover to keep moving your healing forward.
After your session
We debrief together to talk through the main points and support your integration. You'll also receive an audio recording of the session, as a reminder in case anything is hard to recall afterwards. Give yourself time to process and integrate, especially if the session held a lot in a short space of time.
Your connection to your subconscious stays open afterwards, so pay attention to your thoughts, feelings, dreams and intuition in the days that follow. You'll start to notice the difference between your human self (ego) and your authentic unified self. This often gives profound insight and clarity, and helps you connect the dots between the experiences you've had and the lessons you've learned.
Writing down and reflecting on what came up helps anchor it. Keeping track of your physical, emotional and mental state is one of the simplest ways to support your integration. Every session is different, and so is every person's experience.
